Psychological Statistics

In this course, students will learn the principles of descriptive and inferential statistics and apply them to psychological research. Topics include measures of central tendency and variability, standardized distributions, hypothesis testing and t-tests, analysis of variance, correlation and regression.
Course Learning Outcomes
At the completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Differentiate between descriptive, inferential and correlational statistics

Determine which statistical methods to apply to different research questions

Calculate, interpret and report with and without statistical software (SPSS, Excel):
Measures of central tendency
